POP UP GIFT CARD HOLDER

DATE:  Sunday, November 6th

TIME:  12:30 to 2:30  -  NOTE NEW TIME!

COST:  $20

You've likely notice the time change above.  The ladies at last class requested an earlier start time for classes due to the upcoming time change.  This allows those who live a distance to travel home in daylight.  So please note the new time change.  We will use this going forward.  It could change back in the Spring -- we'll take a vote at that time.

Now on to the good stuff!!  Gift cards are a way of life now -- I find especially with teenagers.  They LOVE gift cards!  Works for me -- I don't have to think hard on what to get them!  So with this in mind, I've replicated a cute gift card holder/card.  I think it's a great way to present a (bland) gift card!

Our first card has more muted tones and would really be great for the man in your life.  But don't stop there!  Use this style card for any occasion!

I've taken pics of the card closed and a few shots of it opened.  The second card works the same way.

And our second card is themed for the upcoming holidays.  I think you're going to be making quite a few of these!

It's a cute little gift bag!!  Add a little piece of tissue and the gift card and voila!

As mentioned in the newsletter, this class is over full.  If you are interested and didn't get on the sign-up sheet for this class, email me, text me, call me...  we can set up a private class for you.

I look forward to seeing you all on the 6th!

Swinging Door Cards

 DATE:  Sunday, October 23

TIME:  1 TO 3 pm

COST:  $20

Well, here I am late again!  It really doesn't matter since this next class is (over) full.  I guess the newsletter and this blog post are just a formality.

Below you will find two really fun technique cards that are simple to do.  I know I say that all the time, but  these really are.  A few folds and some stamps and you have a fun card for you as well as the recipient.

Our first card was made using this frog set (maker unknown) - if I get that information before class I'll be happy to pass it along.  These cards are fun because you have several "swinging doors" that open.  Can I just say, oh the possibilities!  Can't wait to try this using a Christmas theme

So here's the frog one: (sorry for the blurry photo)

You gotta admit, that's a cute set!

And our second card -- more on the elegant side...

So I ask you, can you see some really cute holiday cards using this method?

As mentioned above, this class is over full, but I'll be happy to schedule a private class for any overflow.  Just send me a text, email or phone call and we'll get something set up for you.

See you Sunday!

Pyramid Cards

DATE:  Sunday, October 9th

TIME:  1 to 3 pm

COST:  $20

In this next class we'll be resurrecting an oldie but goodie - Pyramid cards.  These are so simple to create and I just love that you can style them for just about any occasion.  Hopefully this class will get your creative juices going especially heading in to the holidays.

I've created two sizes for these cards; one will fit an A2 envelope and the other an A7 (5x7).  They fold flat - which creates a bit of mystery for the recipient.  Perhaps a note on how to fold them to stand up for display would be helpful?

Here's our first card (A2).  I photo'd it from two angles (geometry being what it is, it may look a bit warped).

And our second card that I adjusted to a larger size to create more "real estate" to decorate.  This one I have shown folded.

So, what do you say, let's get our creativity on and have fun with this class.  Be sure an check the newsletter for the list of supplies needed for this class.

Due to time constraints, I cannot accept additional enrollments for this class.  I can, however, accept private classes if so desired.

I look forward to seeing those who have signed up for this class!
