Slimline Christmas Cards

 COST:  $20

Well, it's that time of year again and what a very different "time" it will be this year.  Here's hoping 2021 will be a much better year.  So let's say goodbye to 2020 with two more Christmas cards using the slimline format.

I've been digging through all my precious, old "stuff" with an eye toward using some older images.  And I mean images predating cutting dies!  Remember back then?  Anyway, I dug out this cute image of Rudolph and decided he was just the right size for a slimline card.  Hope you like this one!

Isn't he a hoot?  (Sorry the photo is a bit blurry.)

And one more card using lots of glitter.  This card has a surprise - the tree on the front is an ornament ready for hanging!  Guaranteed this card will make you look at your dies in a whole different way. (Again, apologies for the poor photo quality.)

So, what do you say?  Join me one last time in 2020 for these fun cards!  Simply click on the PayPal button below or send me an email letting me know if you want your kit picked up or mailed.

Ciao for now and let me close by saying have a blessed and happy Christmas even with the restrictions of Covid19.  I've tried to approach this past year with a positive attitude by creating new things to do around the house and in my craft space.  Just keep telling yourself it's temporary and the end is near.  God bless you all!

Love and hugs,

Donna

PS:  Be aware that by using the PayPal button, there is a $1.50 mailing fee attached.  If you choose to pick up your kit, then I will refund you the $1.50.

SLIMLINE CARDS!

COST:  $20

Hello to all!  I have been amongst the missing due to computer and iPhone issues.  It's not easy being me and this past week just did me in with electronics! But I am back with a really fun class for you.

The rage today is slimline cards.  Simply put, this is a card that will fit into a #10 (business) envelope.  There are many sizes that you can adapt your cards to -- the size is up to you.  We'll try and go over that with my next video.

I have to say, I have been having a grand time with this "extended canvas".  It really makes you think about size/proportion, etc.  There are also many dies that are being produced for this format, but you really don't need them.  So what I've put together for you is a card that is indicative of the times with Covid19, that being the inability to visit/see family and friends.  So here's our first card:

Our second card will be indicative of the upcoming Christmas season.  I went clean and simple with this one.  You'll be able to adapt quite easily to clean and simple using your own stamps and/or dies once you've tried this one.  The die set is from GinaK Designs and it's one of my very favorite for the season.  I hope you will enjoy this one as much as I do!

So what are you waiting for?  Click on that PayPal button below or email me and let me know you'd like to take this class.  If you decide you like the new slimline format, let me know and I'll work on some additional ones - perhaps for the Christmas season.

NOTE:  There is a $1.50 shipping charge on top of the class fee.  Please be mindful of that when ordering.

Curtain Call Card

Hello stampers and crafters!  Well, my first video classroom went quite well and all responders gave positive feedback AND photos of their projects!  That was exciting to me -- I LOVE seeing what you accomplish.  Pssst, it also gives me confidence to create more videos.

And so!  I am finishing up my next video for you.  Most of you have received my newsletter with lots of info in it so this may be a repeat of things.  I'm including photos of what was in the newsletter as well as a link to the video explaining how it's done.

Here are the cards (you will receive two kits in this package):

Another closed version of the same using a giraffe image:

And this shows how the card stands up on its own (top view)!

These are incredibly easy to make using one sheet of 8-1/2x11 card stock.  You'll be making them over and over.  My first attempt at this type card was using flowers and it came out adorable and I sent it to a very dear friend.  Here it is - just to show you how this changes drastically depending on what images/dies you use:

So what are you waiting for?  Email me at deeedee.maligno@gmail.com to make arrangements for your kit.  And I'll get busy cutting kits because I know you're gonna love this one!

For those of you who wish to pay through Paypal, please click on the button below.  I will be notified and send out your kit.  The cost for this kit is $20 plus $1.50 shipping.

Ciao for now!

Cupcake/Cookies Stove Gift Box

CLASS COST:  $20

Hello All!
We've been communicating through my newsletter regarding online classes.  And here we are ready to launch my first class for you!

To recap, we will be creating this really cute box that will hold one cupcake or a small sleeve of cookies to be given as a cute (hostess, hospital, thank you...) gift.  Why not use it as a baby shower gift --  'bun in the oven'?  It's so really basic to create and I know you will enjoy making lots of these.  Dress it up for Christmas with some holly and berries, along with a  little bling for the stove settings, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  In your kit, the color of your stove will be at my discretion based on availability of colors/card stock.  They may not be colors you would necessarily choose, but will be for the purpose of the video tutorial.  For those who wish to have their kits mailed to them, please be advised that I will be folding one large piece of 12x12 card stock according to the instructions set forth in my video.  It will basically save you one step toward completion.  This will be clearer to you once you watch the video.

To also recap, once you have effected payment either by the Paypal button below, credit card over the phone or by check or cash, you will be mailed your packet with all the "ingredients" for this project along with the PRIVATE link for a video on how to complete the project. Remember, this link is yours alone -- you paid for it.  It can be viewed forever.  There is a tremendous amount of work involved In prepping these videos and I would ask that you not share these links with anyone - honor system here.

So click the Paypal button below and I will get your kit ready for however you wish it delivered.  I look forward to hearing from you all!

PLEASE NOTE:   If you are not on my newsletter list and wish to be, please email me at deedee.maligno@gmail.com.

Regards,
Donna

Wobbles!

DATE:  SUNDAY, March 1st
TIME:  1 TO 3PM
COST:  $20

Can you believe March is here?!  I'm all for these mild winters.  Let's start March off with a little-used item -- Wobbles.  I gave you a taste of using a wobble in our last class and decided why not make it an entire class?  Wobbles are fun and interactive and so incredibly easy to use you'll wonder why you didn't try it before.

We'll create two simple cards and put your Distress Oxide talents to good use in creating backgrounds for these cards.  When you have Distress Oxides, who needs designer paper?  We make our own!

Our first card is such a simple but fun card to create using Metallic Markers and Wink of Stella and, of course, a Wobble behind that big dragonfly.

And our second card will be using this rather amusing image from Art Impressions.  This bird makes me laugh every time I use it.  His expression says it all!

There's an inside sentiment that goes with this little guy that I love.  Come to class to find out what it is!  Bring your markers and the list of inks as mentioned in the newsletter.  There are a few openings left, so send me a quick email to reserve your spot!

See you soon!

Raindrops are Falling on My Head

DATE:  SUNDAY, January 26th
TIME:  1 to 3 PM
COST:  $20

Well, last week's class was a rounding success with our jump start on Valentines cards.  So, our next class will be moving forward using images that have captured my imagination for a very long time.  Now it's time to share them with you.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason for my fascination with these stamps, but you be the judge.  There are many different types of raindrops, water droplets, etc.  I only have a few but tried to show you some versatility in using them.

All of these cards will be using different blending methods with our Distress Oxides.  This first card is so much fun to create this tunnel effect with light.  We will then add our droplets and continue on.

Our second card will be created using an ombre effect in blending.

Next we will use another method of color blending using our Distress Oxides.  (Love these inks!)

Our last card is done using paintbrushes for this effect.  I have been coveting this particular stamp for just about forever and have finally ordered it.  This one is on loan from Suzanne -- thanks, Suze!

I just love the simplicity of this card and it's so easy to do!

A FEW THINGS TO BRING:

*Bring your regular class kit (NO score boards needed).

In order to speed things up with the first card (browns):
*IF YOU have Antique Linen, Walnut Stain and Black Soot, please bring them.  I have them all, but it will be easier if we have a few others on hand.

For the Umbrella card, if you have:
     Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles

Blending brushes

White gel pen

Crystal Drops (or similar like Glossy Accents, etc.)

Paint brushes  (what size?  see below)

You will need two different size brushes for one of these cards.  One small detail brush and a larger (size 6, 7 or 8 will do).  See picture below for reference.

I look forward to seeing you all.  Hurry, this class is almost full!
