DATE: SUNDAY, January 26th
TIME: 1 to 3 PM
COST: $20
Well, last week's class was a rounding success with our jump start on Valentines cards. So, our next class will be moving forward using images that have captured my imagination for a very long time. Now it's time to share them with you.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason for my fascination with these stamps, but you be the judge. There are many different types of raindrops, water droplets, etc. I only have a few but tried to show you some versatility in using them.
All of these cards will be using different blending methods with our Distress Oxides. This first card is so much fun to create this tunnel effect with light. We will then add our droplets and continue on.

Our second card will be created using an ombre effect in blending.
Next we will use another method of color blending using our Distress Oxides. (Love these inks!)
Our last card is done using paintbrushes for this effect. I have been coveting this particular stamp for just about forever and have finally ordered it. This one is on loan from Suzanne -- thanks, Suze!
I just love the simplicity of this card and it's so easy to do!
A FEW THINGS TO BRING:
*Bring your regular class kit (NO score boards needed).
In order to speed things up with the first card (browns):
*IF YOU have Antique Linen, Walnut Stain and Black Soot, please bring them. I have them all, but it will be easier if we have a few others on hand.
For the Umbrella card, if you have:
Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles
Blending brushes
White gel pen
Crystal Drops (or similar like Glossy Accents, etc.)
Paint brushes (what size? see below)
You will need two different size brushes for one of these cards. One small detail brush and a larger (size 6, 7 or 8 will do). See picture below for reference.
I look forward to seeing you all. Hurry, this class is almost full!
